Memories are better than diamonds

I have recently returned from a semester abroad in Geneva, Switzerland, I lived there for about five months and during my time there I never really felt like writing about my experience, it felt unnecessary, I don't know why. However, during a trip I made to Barcelona my cellphone got stolen living me without all the thousands of pictures I had taken. I still had all the photographs from my camera, but the photos I took from my cellphone seemed more spontaneous, full of random moments with my friends or photos I took from random things I saw on the street that inspired me. And all of a sudden a had nothing. (No, I never made a backup of everything I had on my phone, if you were wondering and I had no idea what the iCloud was for, or how helpful it could be.)

Nevertheless, returning back home and realizing that  most of my memories are still fresh and that I still smile every time I remember random moments from my semester abroad, inspired me to write again, in order keep the memories fresh and to share the little things that made me happy during those five months. All the things I cherish art, films, food, places and people.
